It is soo nice to live with a private chef! This is what my wonderful darling H made for us on this very special february 29.
Shrimp & squid risotto, warm baguette, homemade allioli and ice cold coke. A-ma-zing! ♥
Hey guys! Another long but great day at the World Mobile Congress is over. Today I’ve made loads of great contacts for the future, gotten several job offers and passed a little test my bosses set up for me. I think they were quite proud of my knowledge of the MHL product.
I also got a nice phone call confirming that I got the Heineken job!! It’s next wednesday during the Barca-Bayern Leverkusen game at Camp Nou and I’m gonna be in the VIP-lounge as a Heineken girl. What is better then watching Barça play AND get paid for it?! Awesome. Now I’m gonna watch Argentina play and then eat a delicious dinner made by H.
Be wiser than other people if you can, but do not tell them so.

I’m off to the trade show again. Third day and only one more to go. These shows really punishes your body and head but they pay off well and are really interesting so you just gotta hang in there until the end. Yesterday I fell asleep the second I turned off the light, that’s how tired I was. Luckily tomorrow will be a shorter day! Another thing that’s great about these shows is the connections you make with people working in other booths. For example we’ve become friends with the guys in one booth that everyday at noon brings out cannapés and drinks for their guests…and us! I don’t think I’ll even bother going for lunch today, I’ll just head right up there for some delicious snacks.
Funny pic from the shoot. Me styling the model with a huge hat.
I’m completely exhausted and I can barely think right now. It was a very long but funny day and I spent the entire afternoon goofing around with the top bosses of Silicon Image in the booth. There was a great flow of people in the stand so we worked really hard but we had a lot of fun too. At 6pm. I ran off to my interview which I think went very well allthough the agency aren’t the ones who decides who gets the job, it’s the client (in this case Heineken!) who does that. I’m really sorry I can’t blog more these days but there are only two days left of the show now, then the blog will get back to normal again. Sleep tight now loves, I’ll talk to you tomorrow.
Yesterday I saw a bit of the Oscars and it’s truly a magical evening. Everybody really tries their best to look amazing, to act amazing and to give that little extra. I could talk in all eternity about Angelinas dress, Portmans increadible necklace or Clooneys sex-appeal but instead I want to highlight two veterans in the game. Glenn Close and Meryl Streep. MY GOD! They were stunning! Glenn’s amazingly beautiful and her face just radiates such an intensity I couldn’t close my mouth when I saw her. And Meryl. Good, old Meryl… How hilarious wasn’t her speach?! And how gorgeous wasn’t she in her golden dress?! Ahh, these two ladies really knows how to raise eyebrows still. My. God.
Hello world. My eyes are swollen and my feet hurt but it doesn’t matter because today is gonna be a good day. I’m having a camembert cheese-sandwich and a cup of tea (yes, weird combo..) for breakfast while listening to Bruno Mars. I’m sorry I won’t be able to blog much today since I’m gonna be at the show but I’ve timed a few posts just like yesterday. Among other things I’ll give you my opinion on the Oscars, don’t miss that! It’s so nice to see that you’re still here even though I’m not. I’ll make it up to you, I promise!
Pajama-girl!
We’ve had such a great night with F&F. It’s amazing how you can have such feeling with two people that you don’t stop talking even for a minute. We had a great dinner and laughed like crazy as always. Now I’m about to hit the bed because tomorrow I have another long day ahead of me. First the show and then I have a very interesting interview at half past six. Fingers crossed, I really want this gig! Nighty-night ♥
Gosh I’m tired! It has been a great day at the trade show and I’m really amazed by the technology we’re promoting. For you who don’t give a rats about technology: stop reading right now. It’s called MHL and it’s a great solution for your android phone (Samsung 1-0 iPhone!) where you can connect your device with your TV just like an HDMI-cable but what’s cool about this one is that it charges your phone while using it. It’s great for gaming, watching movies etc.
It’s really nice to promote something you actually believe in yourself so I’ve had an intense but fun day. In a while we get visitors! My dearest Flor and Facu are coming over for a snack and loads of catching up. I’m so excited to see my preggo-Flor!!

My Blackberry Bold got stolen this summer and ever since I’ve been stuck with a Sony Ericsson model Flintstone. Since I was gonna be abroad for so long I didn’t wanna buy a new smartphone until I got back. Well, now I’m back and I have a dilemma. Until now an iPhone 4S was the only thing I wanted but these last few days I’ve started to like the new Samsung models. During the fair we’ll be working with Samsung Galaxy S2 which isn’t that new anymore but I’ve only heard good things about this phone. So what to do?
Or iPhone?
I can’t believe I always miss the Oscars!! There’s always something I have to do the other day that stops me from being up all night watching the gala, same thing every year. Oh well, hopefully I can watch it later on… I’m up now, makeup is on and I’m ready to rock the World Mobile Congress 2012. I won’t be home until late but I’ve timed some entries so you have absolutely NO excuse for not checking out the blog during the day. There will be a sneakpeak from yesterdays shoot among other things, you don’t wanna miss that!
All the guys are here and the game is on. Barça is winning by one goal and the pizza is heating up. In other words: it’s a great night in and hopefully I’ll get some sleep because tomorrow starts a few days of work. I’ll be at the fair for ten hours so hopefully I’ll get some time off to be able to check out the latest in technology. The people who know me knows I’m a sucker for high tech gadgets so this trade fair is perfect for me.
During another awesome hostess job at the catalan MotoGP
I just finished watching Real Madrid – Rayo Vallecano and all I can say is: Could Madrid possibly get more lucky?! I admit Ronaldos goal was amazing but he was soooo lucky! Without looking he just hit the ball with his heel and somehow it just entered… What can I say? Congrats Real, La Liga is basically yours now. Now I’m watching Valencia – Sevilla and later on the guys will come over for Atl. Madrid – Barça so this is turning into a real soccer-sunday.
